Rebates & Tax Credits for Heating & Cooling Systems
Rebates and tax credits are some of the most crucial parts of purchasing a new piece of home comfort equipment. They were put in place to provide extra incentive to upgrade old, inefficient equipment. New home comfort equipment features updated technology to decrease home energy consumption, benefiting your home’s budget in the short and long runs.
Whether you have gas or electric heat, there is probably some type of incentive out there that will help you with the cost of replacing the heating & cooling system. At AAA Heating and Cooling, we offer assistance with completing the appropriate paperwork to file for the tax credits, as well as apply for any rebates that your new equipment may qualify for. We also have PTCS trained technicians who are able to test new air-source heat pumps to verify whether or not they meet the requirements of many incentives through both the State of Oregon and the Energy Trust of Oregon. Being able to test in-house allows us to make many adjustments on the spot, which may allow it to qualify for up to $1,500 in tax credits from Oregon and up to $700 in rebates from the ETO.
When it comes to energy efficiency, it’s a win-win situation for your home. Not only will upgrading your old, inefficient equipment save you money on your energy bills, but it may also provide you with tax incentives and in some cases, money back in your pocket!
